National Tournament to be held June 18-23 in Dallas Texas.
Elizabeth Bainbridge qualified to the DECA national competition held April 28-May
3 in Dallas, Texas.

I. Policies for Final Consideration
9 policies, procedures, forms and exhibits
Board Member Haws made the motion to strike section D-Request for Leave from
consent calendar. Seconded by Wendy Horman. All in favor 3 Yeas, 1 abstention.
Motion passed by a 4-1 vote.
MOTION: Annette Winchester made the motion to adopt the consent calendar as
amended. Seconded by Wendy Horman. All in favor. Motion passed.
VI. Old Business
1. Construction Financial Update – Mike Sorenson presented information on Capital
Construction Projects.
VII. Public Input
Policy # 204.10 - Public Input will provide an opportunity for any Board Member,
administrator, staff member, student or patron to raise issues of interest. The Board will
receive such input without comment, except to ask germane questions of those speaking.
Comments should be limited to 3 minutes. The Board will take no action relative to any
items during the meeting, but may direct the Superintendent to consider such an item at a
subsequent meeting.
VIII. New Business
1. Recognition
BHS State Debate Champions – Robert Clayton, Debate Coach (see list of names in
official Board minute binder)
BHS Bonnevaires - Steve Dresen, Choir Director (see list of names in official Board
minute binder)
2. Honoring Classified Employee of the Year – Dr. Bruce Roberts
Judy Botero – District Secretary
Darrell Robb - Maintenance
3. Amended Budget Hearing – Mike Sorenson
MOTION: Annette Winchester made the motion to accept the Amended Budget.
Seconded by Randy Haws. All in favor. Motion passed.
4. Proposed Policies – Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Bruce Roberts presented 4 policies,
procedures, forms and exhibits asking for a 30-day review within the schools in the district.
MOTION: Wendy Horman made the motion to accept 30-day review within the
buildings in our district. Seconded by Annette Winchester. All in favor. Motion
passed.
