Chairman Lords asked if any Board member would like to move any item from the Consent Calendar to the regular agenda. Hearing none, he then asked it there would be a
motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended.
MOTION: Kip Nelson made the motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended, Wendy Norman seconded, The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and I abstention
Craig Lords abstained because of a potential conflict of interest. Motion passed
V1, Public Comment - Proposed Elementary School Boundaries
Chairman Lords asked Ms. French to Outline where we are at this point. After three public meetings and two surveys, the Blue map was fire map of choice, Ms. French
explained that we are presenting that map to the Board tonight, There was a question regarding where the Red Rock area is on the Blue map. The answer was that it is in the
Discovery Elementary boundaries, Chairman Lords asked if there would be anyone who would like to address the Board regarding the Proposed Elementary School
Boundaries. He asked that individuals addressing the Board to state their name and address for the record. Hearing and seeing none, he closed public comment. He stated
that the Board has appreciated the staff and public input and as a result the map has changed somewhat because of input, Chairman Lords asked if there was any Board
member who has comment or discussion. Hearing none he closed the comment period and moved on to New Elementary Boundaries,

Chairman Lords spoke to Mr. Gauchay stating that he knows the school boundaries and can do what needs to be done to get the school opened this fall, Itwill be a wonderful
school and the Board appreciates Mr. GaUChay taking that of). He asked Mr. Gauchay to bring back a name for the school before July,

He then went to Hillview and from there to Rinfrock, He never forgot Carol Arpke and his first order of business was to recruit her to work at Rimrock, He wanted herattitude
at the new school so when patrons, students, or staff come in they are blessed by her. That was the best decision he made. Mrs, Arpke is fun, playful, and uplifting. It is an
honor to congratulate and love tier, Mrs. Arpke was presented with a plaque and a monitory award. Mrs. Arpke introduced her husband Paul. Mr. Hicks thanked Mrs. Arpke
for all she has done over the years, Mr. Page stated that Carol truly is the head of Rimrock. She knows the school, the kids names, and their teachers,

will bo sworn in during the July a nUat meeting. Chairman Lords stated that there are two other seats up for election, Zone 8 has two candidates running, Terry Kerr and
Brian McBride. All candidates have been invited to participate in Board meetings. Chairman Lords asked Mr. McBride to introduce himself. Zone 5 has Mr, Jeff Bird and Mr.
DeVere Hunt running, Chairman Lords encouraged patrons to study the candidates and vote their conscience.
