This is not Our 0m boundary change. It is the sixth time. So, we are comfortable with this process and the decisions we have to make. There are copies of proposals available at the back of the room. What we start with is not necessarily what we will end up with. Chairman Lords then introduced Shalene French and Karen Judy. Mrs. Judy asked patrons to keep in mind that these are proposals and informed them that there is a Survey available online. She explained the Versa Trans program and how it helps draw the boundaries by giving us numbers of kids in a given neighborhood. The program works in connection with PowerSchool. We thought we would have 10,300 -10,600 students. Our actual number is 10,800 and we expect to be above 11,000 soon. Falls Valley has a large capacity and others have less. We want as many children as possible to be able to walk to school. He also reminded people that we are adding students and losing money at the same time. Chairman Lords asked for a total number of kids who are impacted under each plan. He also asked how many kids are in Summit Park. Summit Park has 276 students m this time. We will take all input into consideration after tomorrow night's meeting and then make adjustments and make a decision, They Would like to make the decision at the April 1 01h Regular Board Meeting, If there are significant changes there may be another meeting like this for concerns to be expressed.
