Call to Order
Chairperson Annette Winchester Galled the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m,
Roll Call
Those Board members in attendance were Chairperson Annette Winchester, Treasurer Amy Landers, Trustee Brian McBride, and Trustee Jeff Bird. Vice-
chairperson Kip Nelson, was unable to attend. Others in attendance were Superintendent Chuck Shackett, Deputy Superintendent Marjean McConnell,
Human Resources Director Shalene French, and Board Clerk Valerie Messick.
Chairperson Winchester stated, that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(b) To consider the
evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or
public school student. She then asked for a Roll Call Vote:
Brian McBride —yes
Amy Landers — yes
Jeff Bird — yes
Annette Winchester - yes
Emolovee Issue — Shalene French
Chairperson Winchester asked Dr. French to discuss the recommendation regarding employee A14. She handed out a copy of the recommendation to
place the employee on probation to the members of the Board. She recommended at least eight (8) weeks of probation for the employee and then she will
return to report to the Board and make a recommendation at that time.
It was the consensus of the Board that they should approve the placement of employee A14 on probation for the required eight (8) weeks and then
reconvene regarding the matter.
11L Move Back into Open Meetino
Chairperson Winchester asked for a motion to move back into open meeting at 6:59 p.m.
Motion: Brian McBride made the motion to move back into open meeting. Jeff Bird seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions.
The motion passed.
