STATE OF IDAHO: SUPERINTENDENT CONTRACT
THIS CONTRACT, Made effective this f i day of July, year of 2021, by and between Bonneville Joint School District No. 93,
ldaho Falls, ldaho in Bonneville and Bingham Counties, State of ldaho (hereinafter called the District), and Dr. Scott
Woolstenhulme (hereinafter called the Su perintend ent),
WITNESSETH:
1. That the District hereby contracts to and does hereby employ said Superintendent as Superintendent of Schools of
Bonneville Joint School District 93, ldaho Falls, ldaho in Bonneville and Bingham Counties, State of ldaho, for a period
of three years (being 36 consecutive months and based upon a 235-day work year), beginning July 1, in the year of
2027, and extending to June 30 in the year of 2024, ata salaryofone hundred fifty sixthousand one hundred fifty
dollars (S156,150.00) per year, (prorated monthly). Saidsalaryshall bepaidinequal monthly installments on the 2Oih
day of each month for such services, the first payment to be made on August 2oth in the year of 2021, together with
the benefits, payments and reimbursements described in the attached Addendum. At ony time during the term of
this Controct, the District moy, in the discretion of its board of trustees, review ond odjust the sdlory and benefits of
the Superintendent, but in no event sholl the superintendent be poid less thon the soldry set forth in the current
Controct. Such odjustments, if mode, sholl be opproved in on open meeting of the boord of trustees.
ln consideration of the promises and agreement of the District hereinbefore recited, the Superintendent agrees to
assume the duties of Superintendent of Schools at Bonneville Joint School District 93, ldaho on luly 1, in the year of
2021, and to faithfully perform and discharge the same to the best of his/her ability as directed by the Board of
Trustees, and to comply with the applicable laws of the State of ldaho, the duly adopted rules of the State Board of
Education, and such regulations, directives and policies as the Board of Trustees may legally prescribe which are, by
reference, incorporated in and made a part of this contract as though fully set forth herein.
It is further agreed that the Superintendent will have authorization to attend, at District expense, all meetings of the
State Board of Education or the State Superintendent of Public lnstruction to which the Superintendent is invited, and
that the Board of Trustees will adopt policies pertaining to attendance at other professional meetings and
conferences including expenses of travel.
It is hereby mutually stipulated and agreed by and between the parties that nothing herein contained shall operate or
be construed as a waiver of any of the rights, powers, privileges, or duties of either party hereto, by and under the
laws of the State of ldaho, otherwise than is herein expressly stated, and that no property rights attach to this
Contract beyond the term of this Contract.
The terms of this Contract shall be subject to amendment and adjustment to conform to the terms of any negotiated
agreement between the partles as long as those terms do not conflict with the terms of this Contract.45IN WITNESS WHEREOF the District has caused this instrument to be executed in its name by its proper officials and the

This contract form was approved by the State Superintendent of Public lnst.uction. Any other form must be approved by the State Superintendent and
reviewed for reapprovalevery three years. A "Benefits Addendum" approved by the district board of trustees shall be atta€hed to the contract.
ADDENDUM TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
For the Position of SUPERINTENDENT
BONNEVILLE JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT No. 93
and
DR. SCOTT WOOLSTENHULME
t. Insurance: The District shall provide and pay the full cost for the Superintendent for
health, dental, vision, life (including permitted excess life insurance coverage) and disability
insurance as provided to full time certificated school district employees. In addition, the District
shall pay, as a reimbursement, the full cost of health, dental and vision coverage available to the
Superintendent's dependent family under such coverage. In addition, the District shall pay the cost
of Supplemental Health Insurance for the Superintendent and his dependents as are available under
the health benefit plans offered by the District to certificated personnel.
2. The District agrees to provide to Superintendent the total sum of Eight Thousand
Dollars ($8,000.00) dollars, on an annual basis, as a stipend for transportation in lieu of providing
a district vehicle for the use of the Superintendent within the local area (Rexburg to Pocatello).
The Superintendent agrees to use his private vehicle for transportation while acting as
Superintendent and his official duties associated therewith. The Superintendent shall be
reimbursed for non-local travel by mileage or actual rental car expense reimbursement.
3. The District shall reimburse the Superintendent for a sum equal to the state required
employee contribution to the state retirement program (PERSI).
4. All education expenses incurred by the Superintendent, including but not limited to.
tuition, class fees, registration fees, books and/or class materials shall be paid by the District.
It is further agreed to as follows:
a. That the Superintendent will continue his professional development and participate in
relevant learning experiences designed to retain his state certification and improve his proficiency
and his qualifications for the position of Superintendent and to work in cooperation with the Board
of Trustees and District personnel to innovate needed policy and programs for the benefit of the
District.
b. That the Superintendent may attend, at District expense, all meetings called by the
State Board of Education or the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. In addition, the
Superintendent is authorized to attend, at District expense, such other professional meetings and
conferences as he may deem necessary to achieve the goals of the District, and as approved by the
Board of Trustees. Membership expenses for the Superintendent in professional, administrative
and civic organizations shall be borne by the District upon approval of the Board of Trustees.
5. The Board explicitly authorizes the Superintendent, dba walk-thrus.com. to
independently contract with the School District to provide online classroom observation forms
and reports atarate not to exceed $400 per school site per year. The Superintendent should
normally perform this work off-site and with his own equipment; however, the Superintendent is
permitted to occasionally use his district issued devices and school network to assist principals
with their forms as necessary.
6. The Superintendent is granted the following paid leave annually:
a. Up to five (5) days of personal leave as provided in the current Master Agreement,
b. Twelve (12) days of sick leave as provided in the current Master Agreement.
c. Seven (7) paid holidays, as provided in Board Policy 2200 with the inclusion of
JulY 4th,
d. One compensation day for each day the Superintendent worked more than 235
days the preceding year, up to a maximum of five (5) days.
This addendum is hereby incorporated by reference to the Standard Superintendents
Contract proscribed by the State Department of Education as if set out in full therein.
