Work Agreement: Board Policy Consultation
ln order to make necessary and timely updates to the policy manual of the Board of Trustees,
Bonneville Joint School District 93, "the District," hereby agrees to engage Laura L. Wallis as a
contracted consultant to perform the following responsibilities:
. Review Board policies selected by members of the District Executive Team to provide
recommendations on necessary revisions to align those policies with current ldaho state
law, federal law and current practices of the Districq
o Provide recommendations on ways to consolidate and simplify procedures and policies;
r Create a comprehensive glossary of terms used throughout the Board policy manual to
eliminate redundancies and inconsistencies in defined terms;
. Attend the District Director meeting on the first Monday of each month as possible to
provide updates on policies for consideration at that month's meeting of the Board of
Trustees;
o Provide a written summary of the hours worked and the work performed each month.
ln compensation for fulfilling these responsibilities, the District agrees to pay the consultant at
a rate of S50 per hour, not to exceed a total of S16,250 for the contract period ofJune 1, 2023
through June 30,2024.
This agreement shall be in effect from June 1, 2023 through June 30,2024. However, either
party may provide written notice to the other party to request to terminate this agreement 30
days prior to the requested termination date. The consultant will be paid for all of the work
completed during those 30 days at a rate of S50 per hour up to a maximum of 40 hours.
