School Students per Teacher Average Class Size* Optimal Overload Optimal Overload Bonneville Online ES 50 55 50 55 Bonneville Online HS 20 25 35 40 *Average class size is based on students from traditional high schools enrolling in sections at Bonneville Online. STUDENTS 3010E2 Praxium Mastery Academy Praxium Mastery Academy is an honors track school that is open to enrollment for students in 7th or 8th grade who prefer a mastery-based approach to learning. Students must have demonstrated success in self-directed learning with priority given to students who need learning opportunities that typically exceed the expectations of traditional classroom instruction. To be considered for Praxium, students must meet at least one of the following criteria: 1. A score or Proficient (3) or Advanced (4) on the Idaho Student Achievement Test in Math and English Language Arts (ELA) 2. Meet district Gifted and Talented requirements, 3. Submit an equivalent assessment if new to Bonneville School District 93 or from out of district. The following criteria will be used to evaluate and prioritize enrollments at Praxium Mastery Academy. Students who are not initially accepted will be placed on a waiting list for openings that may become available. 1. Submission of the application by the February 1st open enrollment deadline 2. Residency within Bonneville School District 93 3. Previous qualification for Gifted and Talented program or achieving advanced scores (80th percentile) in math and ELA on the ISAT 4. Rubric scores based on student information and teacher recommendations
