Executive Session of the Board of Trustees
October 12, 2016
The Board moved into Executive Session at 8:12 p.m.
I. Executive Session
A. Chairman McBride stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section
74-206(1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought
against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. The Executive
Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
MOTION: Paul Jenkins made a motion to move into Executive Session for reason stated. Amy Landers
seconded. The roll call vote was:

III. Discussion Items
Principal Lyndon Oswald informed the Board of the situation that occurred on Bonneville Joint School District 93
school property. Mr. Oswald made the recommendation to expel the students without a hearing, require a risk
assessment of each student, and to conditionally readmit student 17-E, student 17-F, and student 17-G to
Technical Career High School. The District Administration is reviewing the expulsion and risk assessment
procedures.

IV. Move Back Into Open Meetina
Chairman McBride asked for a motion to move back into Open Meeting.
MOTION: Amy Landers made the motion to move back into Open Meeting, Jeff Bird seconded. The vote was 5
in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
V. Motions from Executive Session
MOTION: Jeff Bird made the motion to expel student 17-E, student 17-F, and student 17-G for 12 months and to
be conditionally readmitted to Technical Career High School after taking a risk assessment. Paul Jenkins
seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
