I. Executive Session
A. Chairman Jeff Bird stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section
74-206(1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought
against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student; and (c) To
acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency. The Executive Session will be
closed to the public as permitted by law.
The Board reconvened into Executive Session at 8:42 p.m.
MOTION: Amy Landers made the motion to enter into executive session for the reasons stated. Chad Dance
seconded. The roll call vote was:

A, Personnel Items — Scott Woolstenhulme, Department of Human Resources
1. Employee M2017
Mr. Woolstenhulme recommended to approve the leave without pay for employee M2017.

B. Student Discussions — Trent Dabell, Bonneville High School Assistant Principal
1. Student 17-P
Mr. Dabell informed the Board of the situation and concerns relating to student 17-P. Bonneville High
School administration did not recommended expulsion at this time and will conditionally re -admit 17-P.

2. Student 17-Q
Mr. Dabell informed the Board of the situation relating to student 17-Q and has recommended expulsion
without a hearing and to conditionally re -admit 17-Q at Bonneville High School.

3. Student 17-R
Mr. Dabell informed the Board of the situation relating to student 17-R and has not recommended
expulsion and conditional re -admittance until all re-evaluations and assessments are completed and up-
to-date. Discussion from 9:20 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
C. Land Trade Discussion — John Pymm
Mr. Pymm informed the Board that a local business owner has offered to trade property suitable for a new
elementary school for acreage currently owned by the district. The LDS church is only interested in trade of
an existing building for seminary property near the new high school at appraised value only.

IV. Move Back into Open Session
Chairman Bird asked for a motion to move back into open meeting at 9:46 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to move back into open session. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was
5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
V. Motions from Executive Session
A. Employee M2017 Decision
MOTION: Amy Landers made the motion approve Leave without pay for employee M2017 as requested.
Greg Calder seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
B. Student 17-P Decision
No motion was made.
C. Student 17-Q Decision
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion for an expulsion without a hearing and conditional re -admittance to
Bonneville High School for student 17-Q. Paul Jenkins seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed
and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
D. Student 17-R Decision
No motion was made.
VI. Adiournment
Chairman Bird asked to a motion to adjourn at 9:48 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to adjourn. Chad Dance seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0
opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
