Executive Session

After the Special Meeting/Work Session
Chairperson Winchester stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(b) To consider the evaluation,
dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school
student and Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(c) To consider deliberations to acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency. The
Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
Chairperson Winchester then asked for a roll call vote

I. Property Acquisition
Dr. Shackett discussed with the Board the possibility of property exchange. We need to research to see if it is feasible. This proposition has been brought
to the Board earlier. There must be an appraisal of both properties discussed. If they are not appraised at the same amount, then there may need to be an
auction. There was discussion regarding whether the exchange would be economical. The Board’s direction was to wait until the site plan is completed and
let the architects make a recommendation. We also need to know the District’s liability regarding anything that comes into the site. Mr. Hill will contact the
owner and let him know the status.
II. Personnel Issues
Chairperson Winchester asked Mrs. Burton to discuss financial request with regard to the executive team. She also discussed the amount the District paid
last year and the total for this year’s request. Chairperson Winchester thanked Mrs. Burton for the input. Mrs. Burton then left the meeting.
Chairperson Winchester then discussed the Superintendent’s Evaluation with the Board Members by going over each section of the evaluation and asking
for comments and concerns from each of the members present. They then discussed what was important to bring up during the evaluation meeting.
Chairperson Winchester asked that an executive session be notice after next Board Meeting to continue the discussion and talk about financial requests.
III. Move Back into Open Meeting
The Board moved back into open meeting and adjourned at 2:17 p.m.
