Executive Session November 1, 2017 6:15 PM District Office I. Call to Order Chairman Paul Jenkins called the meeting to order at 6:23 p.m. Roll Call Amy Landers present Chad Dance excused Greg Calder present Scott Lynch present Paul Jenkins present II. Executive Session Chairman Paul Jenkins stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section 74-206(1)(b) To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. The Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law. MOTION: Amy Landers moved to enter into executive session for the reason stated. Greg Calder seconded. The roll call vote was: III. Roll Call Vote Amy Landers yes Chad Dance excused Greg Calder yes Scott Lynch yes Paul Jenkins yes The Board entered into Executive Session at 6:24 p.m. IV. Discussion Items A. Student 18-D Discussion from 6:25 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bonneville High School Assistant Principal Ben Parker informed the Board of the circumstances around student 18-D. He stated that 18-D had been expelled from Bonneville High School and has been conditionally readmitted back to Bonneville High School. Student 18-D is doing well at school. V. Move Back into Open Meeting Chairman Jenkins asked for a motion to move back into open meeting. MOTION: Amy Landers moved to move back into open session. Scott Lynch seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried.

VI. Motion from Executive Session A. Student 18-D Discipline MOTION: Greg Calder moved accept the decision to expel 18-D from Bonneville High School and to conditionally readmit 18-D to Bonneville High School. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. VII.
