I. Reconvened from Regular Meeting Executive Session reconvened at 9:27 p.m. II. Executive Session A. Chairman Jenkins stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section Idaho Code Section 74-206(1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. The Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law. MOTION: Chad Dance moved to enter into executive session for the reasons stated. Greg Calder seconded. The roll call vote was: III. Roll Call Vote Amy Landers yes Chad Dance yes Greg Calder yes Scott Lynch yes Paul Jenkins yes IV. Discussion Items A. Personnel - Scott Woolstenhulme 1. Employee Y2018 2. Employee Z2018 Mr. Woolstenhulme recommended to approve both leave without pay requests as discussed. Discussion from 9:28 p.m. to 9:31 p.m. B. Student Discipline 1. Student 18-K Mr. Woolstenhulme recommended to expel and to conditionally re-admit student 18-K to Bonneville High School. Discussion from 9:31 p.m. to 9:35 p.m. 2. Student 18-L Mr. Woolstenhulme recommended expel and to conditionally re-admit student 18-L to Sandcreek Middle School. Discussion from 9:35 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. C. Evaluation Letter Review – Chairman Jenkins Chairman Jenkins reviewed the evaluation letter that was drafted by District legal counsel, Doug Nelson, per the Board. A time was discussed for Chairman Jenkins to meet with Dr. Shackett Discussion from 9:40 p.m. to 9:56 p.m. V. Move Back into Open Meeting Chairman Jenkins asked for a motion to move back into open session at 9:56 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder moved to move back into open session. Chad Dance seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. VI. Motions from Executive Session A. Employee Y2018 Decision MOTION: Greg Calder moved approve Leave without pay for Y2018. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. B. Employee Z2018 Decision MOTION: Greg Calder moved approve Leave without pay for Z2018. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. C. Student 18-K Discipline MOTION: Greg Calder moved to expel and to conditionally re-admit student 18-K to Bonneville High School. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. D. Student 18-L Discipline MOTION: Greg Calder moved to expel and to conditionally re-admit student 18-L to Sandcreek Middle School. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. VII. Adjourn Chairman Jenkins asked for a motion to adjourn at 10:00 p.m. MOTION: Chad Dance moved to adjourn. Scott Lynch seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried.
