Tips for Success
x Use the student agenda.
x Attend school regularly.
x Develop a habit of working hard and using time wisely.
x Continually think and ask questions that will help you
understand assignments.
x Communicate with teachers and parents about academic
progress and anything with which you are struggling.
x Attend before and/or after school help sessions.
x Students on the alternate path to promotion will meet
with their counselor to make sure they are on track to
meet at least 3 of the alternative requirements.

Board
A student needing
special consideration
may be allowed to
present a portfolio of
work demonstrating
proficiency to the
School Credit Retrieval
Board for individual
consideration. The
Credit Retrieval Board
will be made up of the
school's principal,
counselor, one teacher,
and a District Office
representative.
