HomeMy WebLinkAbout2655 Parent-Teacher ConferencesINSTRUCTION 2655 Page 1 of 1 Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 PARENT –TEACHER CONFERENCES Parent-teacher conferences shall be scheduled during the school year. These may coincide with the issuing of report cards and have been adopted by the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 as a means of reporting student progress to parents in grades Kindergarten through twelve. Guidelines 1. Conferences are to serve as a two-way method of face-to-face communication for the benefit of the child. 2. Conferences should not necessarily be confined to reporting, but may be planned for any occasion that will be helpful to the teacher, the child, and the parent(s)/guardian(s). 3. Conferences should afford an opportunity for sharing information and views designed to promote the welfare of the child. 4. Schedules for conferences, the number of conferences and general details will be worked out to meet the needs of the parents/guardians, teachers, and students. 5. Parents/guardians are encouraged to request a time to talk with the student’s teacher at any time during the school year.
