EARLY GRADUATION
Twelve (12) grading periods of attendance are recommended by the District for students
to obtain the maximum benefit from the program of studies available. However, any high
school student who successfully completes the graduation requirements established by
the state and the District prior to completing twelve (12) grading periods of high school
attendance in grades 9 - 12 may petition the Superintendent/designee and the Board to participate in the Graduation Ceremony with their graduating class or the next available
graduation ceremony. The Superintendent/designee is authorized to create any
procedures necessary to assist students to achieve early graduation as well as create
incentives for participation in any early graduation program (see Advanced Opportunities
policy #2367).
