BUS DRIVER PHYSICAL EXAMS
Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 will employ only those individuals whose
general health, both physical and emotional, are of satisfactory nature. Existing or
potential physical and /or emotional conditions shall not interfere with the safe
transportation of students.
Guidelines
1. Prospective drivers will be required to take and pass a Department of
Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
2. Prospective drivers must be physically able to perform all job - related duties.
3. The District shall designate the medical provider that will administer the physical
examination.
4. The District shall pay all costs related to the examination.
5. Bus drivers employed by the District shall provide and carry with them at all times, a
current and valid DOT health certificate.
6. A copy of the physical examination report shall be filed in each driver's personnel
file.
