OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF DISTRICT FACILITIES
The Board of Trustees seeks to maintain and operate facilities in a safe and healthful
condition. Therefore, the Director of Operations /designee, in cooperation with the
principals and /or other authorized public agencies, is directed to inspect facilities
periodically.
Guidelines
1. A program of continuous repair, maintenance, and reconditioning shall be
implemented.
2. Budget recommendations shall be made each year to meet these needs as well as
any such needs arising from any emergency situations.
3. The Director of Operations shall formulate and implement energy conservation
measures.
4. Principals and staff are encouraged to exercise other cost - saving procedures in
order to conserve the resources of the District in their buildings.
DEFINITION
Authorized Public Agencies: include the State of Idaho Department of Labor and
Industrials Services, State Health Officials, the District's insurance carriers, the Idaho
State Department of Education, fire departments, and duly authorized law enforcement
agencies.
