HomeMy WebLinkAbout9385 Facilities OperationsSCHOOL FACILITIES FACILITIES OPERATIONS 9385 Page 1 of 1 The operation of the District's facilities shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent through the Director of Operations. The Director of Operations shall in turn manage the District's facilities through the head custodians. Guidelines 1. In order to satisfactorily operate the District's facilities, adequate custodial and maintenance personnel shall be employed. 2. Custodial and maintenance responsibilities shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: a. Adequate and timely operation of each facility's heating system. b. Proper care of the District's physical properties, including walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and equipment. c. Adequate care of and timely lamp replacement in each facility's lighting system. d. Proper care of each facility's grounds and playgrounds. 3. Services shall be provided not only during the normal scheduled working day and working year, but also during those times when the building is occupied outside of regular hours.
