I. Call to Order
Chairman Amy Landers called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m.
II. Roll Call
Chad Dance present via zoom
Greg Calder excused
Paul Jenkins present

III. Action Items
Chairman Landers stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)(a) To consider
hiring a public officer, employee, or staff member, wherein the respective qualities of individuals are to be evaluated in order to fill
a particular vacancy or need; and (b) To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of an employee, or staff member or
public school student. The Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
MOTION: Paul Jenkins moved to enter into executive session for the reason stated. Scott Lynch seconded. The roll call vote

IV. Discussion Items:
A. Employees
Employee I2021
Employee J2021
Employee K2021
Employee L2021
Heath Jackson, Executive Director of Personnel, presented the conditional leave without pay requests for employees I2021,
J2021, K2021, L2021 and recommended approval for each request.
Employee M2021
Superintendent Woolstenhulme presented findings relating to Employee M2021 and recommended to place Employee
M2021 on certified probabtion.
B. Principal Recommendations
Heath Jackson, Executive Director of Personnel, presented qualifications of and recommended Benjamin Parker as
principal of Discovery Elementary. He also presented qualifications of and recommended Kolbjorn Skoien as principal of
Summit Hills Elementary. Superintendent Woolstenhulme presented qualifications of and recommended Kent Patterson as
principal of Sandcreek Middle School.

C. Special Education Director Recommendation
Jason Lords, Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction, presented qualifications of and recommended Dr. Yvonne
Thurber for Director of Special Education.
All new positions will commence for the 2021-2022 school year.
V. Action Item: Motion to move into Open Meeting MOTION: Paul Jenkins moved to enter back into open session. Scott Lynch seconded. Motion carried.
VI. Recess to Regular Meeting 7:00 PM
Meeting recessed at 6:55 p.m.
