Themeetingbegan at8:05withDr.ShackettintroducingChairmanLordstotheadministrativestaffoftheDistrict.ChairmanLordspresentedtheBoard’sgoalsforthe2012 - 2013schoolyeartotheadministrators.Theyare:1)ImproveStudentAchievement,2)ShowRespectto EveryoneinOurSchoolCommunity,3)WelcomeandInvolveParentsin OurSchools.Heencouragedeachprincipaltowaysof improvingintheseareasthis year.ChairmanLordsaskedtheotherBoardmembersinattendanceiftheyhadanythingto add.Therewas noadditionalcommentfromBoardmembers.ChairmanLordsthendiscussedthe attributesofagoodleader withinputfromthoseinattendance.Hetalked aboutsomeofthedifficultiesofbeingaleaderandthenaskedthateachprincipalchooseoneoftheattributesdiscussedandworkonitforaweek.Thenchooseanothertowork oneachweekoftheschoolyear.Heaskedthateachprincipalmodelkindnessandcompassiontowardthemembersoftheirschoolcommunity.ChairmanLordsexpressed gratitudeforeachoftheadministrators.Hestatedthattheywereexcellentadministratorsandthankedthemforthegreatjobtheyaredoing.Chairman Lordshadanother appointmentandhadtoleave. Mrs.McConnellthenleadthegroupinactivitiesdesignedtodevelopaDistrictMissionandVision. ThegroupconcludedtheirworkforthedayandmetatJakersGrillforlunch.
