PERSONNEL <br />5021 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br /> <br />DUTY TO REPORT ARRESTS OR CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS <br /> <br />All employees shall have the continuing duty to notify the District of any arrest or <br />criminal conviction that occurs subsequent to being hired by the District. All employees <br />(full-time, part-time, probationary, non-probationary, classified, or certified) are required <br />to promptly report to their supervisor or department head any arrest, charge, indictment <br />for a criminal violation, or protection order served. Requirement for notification applies <br />whether the employee is on-duty or off-duty. <br /> <br /> <br />Guidelines <br /> <br />1. Within one (1) business day, unless mitigating circumstances exist, .employees shall <br />report any arrests, convictions (whether misdemeanor or felony), or protection <br />orders served, that occur while employed by the District (minor traffic infractions are <br />excluded). <br /> <br />2. Principals or supervisors shall contact the Superintendent/designee upon receiving <br />notification that an employee has been arrested or has a protection order served <br />against her/him. <br /> <br />3. The District reserves the right to determine appropriate disciplinary action, up to and <br />including termination, depending on the facts and circumstances surrounding the <br />incident. <br /> <br />4.
