I. Chairman Dance called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.
II. Roll Call was
Paul Jenkins present
Greg Calder present at (6:05 p.m.)
Carissa Coats present

III. Approve/Amend the Agenda (Action)
Chairman Dance asked for a motion to approve or amend the agenda.
MOTION: Paul Jenkins moved to approve the agenda. Carissa Coats seconded. Motion carried.
IV. Executive Session (Action Item)
Chairman Dance stated theat the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)(b) to consider
the evaluation, dismissal, or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public off icer, employee,
staff member, or individual agent, or public school student. The Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted
by law.
MOTION: Carissa Coats moved to enter Executive Session. Randy Smith seconded. Motion carried.

The Board entered Executive Session at 6:02 p.m.
V. Student Recommendations
Chairman Dance invited Craig Miller, Principal at Black Canyon Middle School and Jason Lords, Executive Director of
Learning and Instruction to present information on Student 23-L to the Board. After the discussion, the recommendation for
Student 23-L was expulsion without a hearing and conditionally readmitted back to same school. Chairman Dance asked
for a motion.
A. Student 23-L (Action Item)
MOTION: Paul Jenkins moved to approve expulsion without a hearing and conditionally readmit Student 23-L back
into the same school. Carissa Coats seconded. Motion carried.

B. Student 23-M (Action Item)
Chairman Dance invited Trent Dabell, Principal at Thunder Ridge High School to present information on Student 23-M
to the Board. After the discussion, the recommendation for Student 23-M is exupulsion without a hearing and
conditionally readmitted back to same school. Chairman Dance asked for a motion.
MOTION: Greg Calder moved to approve expusion without a hearing and condtionally readmit Student 23-M to same
school. Carissa Coats seconded. Motion carried.
C. Student 23-N (Action Item)
Chairman Dance invited Levi Owen, Principal at Bonneville High School to present information on Student 23-N to the
Board. After the discussion, the recommendation for Student 23-N is expulsion without a hearing and conditionally
readmitted back to same school. Chairman Dance asked for a motion.
MOTION: Randy Smith moved to approve expulsion without a hearing and conditionally readmit Student 23-M to
same school. Greg Calder seconded. Motion carried.
VI. Planning and Personnel
Chairman Dance invited Heath Jackson, Executive Director of Planning and Personnel to present information on Employee
k2023. Employee L2023, and Employee AD2022 to the Board. This discussion was informational. No action took place.
These employees are on the Consent Agenda for approval.

VII. Move into Open Meeting (Action Item)
Chairman Dance asked for a motion to move back to Open Meeting
MOTION: Randy Smith moved to enter Open Meeting. Carissa Coats seconded. Motion carried.
Board entered Open Meeting at 6:45 p.m.
