Executive Session of the Board of Trustees
May 11, 2016
Following the Regular Scheduled Meeting to be held at 7:00p.m.
I. Call to Order
Chairman McBride called the meeting to order at 8:31 p.m.
II. Chairman McBride stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section 74-
206(1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought
against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student; Idaho Code 74-
206(1)(,) To acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency. The Executive Session
will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
MOTION: Amy Landers made the motion to enter into executive session for the reason stated. Jeff Bird
seconded. The roll call vote was:

IV. Items for Discussion
A. Personnel Items - Dr. N. Shalene French
Chairman McBride invited Dr. French to discuss personnel items, Employee D2016 submitted letter of
resignation which was approved by the Board earlier at the regular meeting held May 11, 2016. She
recommended to remove employee D2016 from probation.
Three Category 2 teacher contracts will not be renewed for the 2016-2017 school year.
Land Discussion - John Pymm
Chairman McBride invited Mr. Pymm to discuss land options. The property in which the District is considering
is now priced at $18,000 per acre. They will appraise the parcel again and will consider a counteroffer with a
competitive price. The parcels of land near Mountain Valley Elementary have appraised for $36, 000 each.
A patron is interested in donating a drainage pit to the District; however, it will have no use to the District. Mr.
Pymm recommended to negotiate a trade or sale of the 100 foot right-of-way near the high school plot with
Robert Suitter. It will also need appraised.
V. Move Back Into Open Meeting
Chairman McBride asked for a motion to move back into open session.
MOTION: Paul Jenkins made the motion to move back into open session for the reason stated. Jeff Bird
seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
VI. Motions from Executive Session
Chairman McBride asked for any motions from Executive Session,
A. Employee D2016 Discipline
MOTION: Amy Landers made the motion to remove D2016 from probation. Jeff Bird seconded. The vote

B. Sale of Property
MOTION: Jeff Bird made the motion to negotiate trade or sale of the 100 foot right-of-way near the high
school plot with Robert Suitter. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0
abstentions. Motion was carried/not carried.
VII. Adiournment
Chairman McBride asked for a motion to adjourn at 8:57 p,m.
MOTION: Jeff Bird made the motion to adjourn. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 4 in favor with 0
opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
