PERSONNEL <br />5427E <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />Standard Military Service Length and Reporting Times <br />Length of Military Service <br />Reporting Times <br />Report to the District by the beginning of the first <br />1 to 30 days scheduled work day that falls eight hours after the <br />end of the last calendar day of military service. <br />Submit an application for reemployment no later than <br />fourteen (14) days after completion of military <br />service. <br />31 to 180 days If the 14th day falls on a day when the District's <br />offices are not open or available to accept a <br />reemployment application, the time extends to the <br />next business day. <br />Apply for reemployment no later than ninety (90) <br />days after completion of military service. <br />181 days or more If the ninetieth (90th) day falls on a day when the <br />District's offices are not open or available to accept a <br />reemployment application, the time extends to the <br />next business day. <br />If hospitalized or recovering from an illness or injury <br />incurred in or aggravated during the performance of <br />Illness or Injury military service, the employee shall apply for <br />reemployment at the end of the period that is <br />necessary for recovery.
