PERSONNEL <br />5017 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br /> <br />CERTIFIED STAFF REEMPLOYMENT/NON-REEMPLOYMENT <br /> <br />In an effort to retain the most qualified certified staff in the District, the Bonneville Joint <br />School District No. 93 Board of Trustees authorizes the Superintendent/designee to offer <br />reemployment to certified staff or recommend non-reemployment pursuant to the <br />guidelines set forth. <br /> <br /> <br />Guidelines <br /> <br />Reemployment <br /> <br />Category 2 Contract Certified Staff <br /> <br />The Human Resources Department may issue a Category 2 Contract by June 1st to each <br />person recommended for reemployment in their second (2nd) year of continuous <br />employment with the District. <br /> <br />Category 3 Contract Certified Staff <br /> <br />1. The Human Resources Department may issue a Category 3 Contract by June 1st to <br />each person recommended for reemployment in their third (3rd) year of continuous <br />employment with the District. <br /> <br />2. The District shall have the option to place on a Category 3 Contract any certificated <br />employee who: <br /> <br />a. Worked in another Idaho school district and was eligible for Renewable Contract <br />status. <br /> <br />b. Worked in an out-of-state district and has four (4) or more years of experience. <br /> <br />3. Such employment on a Category 3 contract under the above provisions may be for <br />one (1), two (2), or three (3) years. <br /> <br />Renewable Contract Certified Staff <br /> <br />1. The Human Resources Department shall issue a Renewable Contract on or before <br />June 1st to each person recommended for reemployment in their fourth (4 th) <br />consecutive year with the District. <br /> <br />2. Renewable Contract certified staff shall have the right to automatic renewal of their <br />contract by giving notice in writing of acceptance of renewal. <br />
