THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />1535 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br /> <br />WRITTEN MINUTES <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 Board of Trustees shall keep <br />written minutes of all its meetings, which shall be signed by the Board Chairperson and the <br />Board Clerk. All minutes shall be available to the public within a reasonable time after each <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />Guidelines <br /> <br />Items to be Included in Minutes <br /> <br />1. Minutes shall include at least the following: <br /> <br />a. The date, time and place of the meeting; <br />b. The presiding officer; <br />c. Board members recorded as absent or present; <br />d. All motions, resolutions, orders, or ordinances proposed and their disposition; <br />e. The results of all votes, and upon the request of a member, the vote of each <br />member by name; <br />f. Legal basis for recessing into executive session; and <br />g. Time of adjournment. <br /> <br />2. Minutes of Executive Sessions shall be limited to a specific reference to the Idaho code <br />subsection authorizing the executive session and sufficient detail to provide the general <br />subject matter to identify the purpose and topic of the executive session. <br /> <br />a. The roll call vote to go into executive session shall be recorded in the minutes. <br /> <br />b. The minutes shall not contain information that would compromise the purpose of <br />going into executive session. <br /> <br />3. Minutes of Negotiation Sessions between the District and the local education <br />organization shall be kept. <br /> <br />4. When issues are discussed that may require a detailed record, the Board may direct <br />the Clerk to record the discussion verbatim. <br /> <br />Items Not for Public Record <br /> <br />All shorthand notes, transcripts, tapes or other preliminary information developed or <br />derived for the intent or use to complete the minutes are not public record, and will not <br />be released to any individual. <br /> <br />
