NAME OF SCHOOL DISTRICT
The School District shall be known by its official and incorporated title of:
JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 93
BONNEVILLE AND BINGHAM COUNTIES
STATE OF IDAHO
Or shall be known by the common and business name of:
BONNEVILLE JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 93
The Bonneville Joint School District No. 93, hereinafter designated as the "District ",
shall consist of that geographic area described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Jefferson -Bonneville County Line which is also the
northwest corner of Sec. 2, Twp. 3 N, R 37 EBM; thence east on the County Line 12-
1 / 2 miles, more or less, to the northeast corner of the NW 1/ 4 of Sec. 2, Twp. 3 N, R 39
EBM; thence south 3 miles to the southeast corner of the SW 1/ 4 of Sec. 14, Twp. 3 N,
R 39 EBM; thence east 1/ 2 mile to the northeast corner of Sec. 23, Twp. 3 N, R 39
EBM; thence south 1 mile to the southeast corner of said Sec. 23, same Twp. and R;
thence east 7-1/ 2 miles to the northeast corner of the NW 1/ 4 of Sec. 30, Twp. 3 N, R
41 EBM; thence south 1- 1/ 2 miles to the southeast corner of the NW 1/ 4 of Sec. 31,
Twp. 3 N, R 41 EBM; thence east 1/ 2 mile to the northeast corner of the SE 1/ 4 of said

line of 17th Street and the center line of Hoopes Avenue; thence north along the center
line of Hoopes Avenue approximately 1/ 2 mile to an intersection with the north -south
center line of Sec. 21, Twp. 2 N, R 38 EBM; thence north approximately 1/ 2 mile to the
northwest corner of the NE 1/ 4 of Sec. 21, Twp. 2 N, R 38 EBM; thence west 1/ 2 mile,
more or less, to the southwest corner of Sec. 16, Twp. 2 N, R 38 EBM; thence north 2
miles to the southeast corner of Sec. 5, Twp. 2 N, R 38 EBM; thence west 1 mile to the
southwest corner of Sec. 5, Twp. 2 N, R 38 EBM; thence north 3 miles to the southwest
corner of Sec. 20, Twp. 3 N, R 38 EBM; thence west 1 mile, more or less, to the east
bank of the Snake River; thence following the east bank of the Snake River in a
northerly direction to a point where the east bank of the Snake River intersects the
south line of Sec. 1, Twp. 3 N, R 37 EBM; thence west on the section line
approximately 1 - 1/ 2 miles to the southwest corner of Sec. 2, Twp. 3 N, R 37 EBM;
thence north 1 mile to the northwest corner of said Sec. 7, same Twp. and R, the point
of beginning.
Legal Status and Operation
1. The Board of Trustees of the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 is the
governmental entity established by the State of Idaho to plan and direct all aspects
of the District's operations to the end that students shall have ample opportunity to
achieve their individual and collective learning needs and to provide a thorough
system of education.
2. The District in its corporate capacity may sue and be sued and may acquire, hold,
and convey real and personal property necessary to its establishment, extension
and existence. The District shall have authority to issue negotiable coupon bonds
and incur such other debt, in the amounts and manner, as prescribed by law.
3. The policies of the Board define the organization of the Board and the manner of
conducting its official business. The Board' s operating policies are those that the
Board adopts from time to time to facilitate the performance of its responsibilities.
