HomeMy WebLinkAbout2380 Homebound, Hospital and Home InstructionINSTRUCTION HOMEBOUND, HOSPITAL AND HOME INSTRUCTION 2380 Page 1 of 1 In the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93, a student absent from school for more than ten (10) consecutive days because of health or physical impairment will be provided the services of a teacher or an aide in the home or local hospital within the District's boundary. Guidelines 1. Appropriate educational services may begin as soon as eligibility has been established through the Director of Special Education /designee and coordinated with the building administrator of the student. 2. Such students shall be included in calculating the average daily attendance. DEFINITION Homebound Student: means any student who would normally and regularly attend school, but is confined to home or hospital because of an illness or accident for a period of ten (10) or more consecutive days.
