INSTRUCTION <br />ACADEMIC HONORS <br />2750 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />The academic achievement of graduating seniors shall be recognized through the <br />following steps. <br />1. Grade point shall be determined by the average of grades earned during the four (4) <br />complete years of a student's high school career. <br />2. Students wishing to omit GPA for classes that are earned above the minimum <br />graduation requirements, may do so by completing a Credit Review Form #2750F <br />and submitting it to the building principal/designee. <br />3. Thousandths will not be counted in determining ties. <br />4. Two (2) students with the highest GPAs may represent the class and speak during <br />the commencement exercises. <br />5. Students earning the following GPAs may be recognized at graduation or during <br />senior awards night. <br />a. Honors: 3.5-3.749 <br />b. Cum Laude: 3.75-3.99 <br />c.
