STUDENTS <br />PROGRAMS FOR AT- RISK/DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS <br />3100 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />One (1) At -risk Coordinator will be designated to collect and disseminate data regarding <br />drop -outs in the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 and to coordinate the District's <br />program for students who are at high risk of dropping out of school. <br />Guidelines <br />1. Each school year, the At -risk Coordinator will prepare a dropout reduction plan that <br />identifies: <br />a. the number of District students who dropped out in the preceding regular school <br />term; <br />b. the number of students in grades 1 -12 who are at risk of dropping out; <br />c. the District's dropout rate goal for the next school year; <br />d. the dropout reduction programs, resources and strategies to be used during the <br />school year. <br />2. The Board will review and approve the plan annually. <br />At -Risk Students <br />In determining whether a student is at high risk of dropping out of school, the District will <br />consider the following: <br />1. student's academic performance <br />2. student's attendance performance as well as whether the student: <br />a. is adjudged delinquent; <br />b. abuses drugs or alcohol; <br />c. is a student of limited English proficiency; <br />d. receives compensatory or remedial education; <br />e. is sexually, physically or psychologically abused; <br />f. is pregnant or a parent; <br />g. is an emancipated youth, <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br />
