HomeMy WebLinkAbout5385 Employee Conflict of InterestPERSONNEL EMPLOYEE CONFLICT OF INTEREST 5385 Page 1 of 1 No employee of the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 shall engage in or have a financial interest, directly or indirectly, in any activity that conflicts or raises a reasonable question of conflict with his /her duties and responsibilities in the school system Guidelines 1. Employees shall not use District privileges for: a. private gain, for themselves or others, b. the promotion of political candidates, or c. political activities 2. An employee shall not sell any District books, instructional supplies, musical instruments, equipment or other supplies unless prior approval has been obtained from the Superintendent/designee. 3. Employees must follow all laws concerning the disposal of surplus property. 4. There should be no conflict of interest in the supervision and evaluation of employees as defined in Policy #5825 Nepotism.
