PERSONNEL <br />POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS <br />5392 <br />(also4290) <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />The Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 Board of Trustees requires that prior <br />approval from the Superintendent/designee before any partisan or non-partisan political <br />campaign materials are displayed on any school premises. <br />Guidelines <br />1. This policy is not intended to regulate student government elections. <br />2. Interviews, pictures, and/or video taping for political purposes: <br />a. Shall not be done during the school day <br />b. Require prior approval from the Superintendent/designee and principal/designee <br />for use of District Property. <br />c. Require parent/guardian approval in instances where a student is involved in an <br />interview, photo, and/or video. <br />3. Political campaign materials shall not be distributed by means of student lockers, <br />teachers' mail boxes, or District e-mail. <br />4. Materials may be left in the school office for placement in the faculty room or other <br />appropriate place, as determined by the principal/designee. <br />5. Candidates wanting to speak about their campaigns with the employees of the <br />school must first obtain approval of the principal/designee. <br />6.
