NON - INSTRUCTIONAL OPERATIONS <br />5887 <br />(also 8135) <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />BUS DRIVER PHYSICAL EXAMS <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 will employ only those individuals whose <br />general health, both physical and emotional, are of satisfactory nature. Existing or <br />potential physical and /or emotional conditions shall not interfere with the safe <br />transportation of students. <br />Guidelines <br />1. Prospective drivers will be required to take and pass a Department of <br />Transportation (DOT) physical exam. <br />2. Prospective drivers must be physically able to perform all job - related duties. <br />3. The District shall designate the medical provider that will administer the physical <br />examination. <br />4. The District shall pay all costs related to the examination. <br />5. Bus drivers employed by the District shall provide and carry with them at all times, a <br />current and valid DOT health certificate. <br />6.
