Bonneville Joint School District No. 93
SUPERINTENDENT
The Superintendent, as the sole executive officer of the Bonneville Joint School District
No. 93, shall organize the administration of the schools in such a manner as to facilitate
the achievement of District goals and objectives.
Guidelines
1. The Superintendent, with the assistance of his/her staff, shall be responsible to
provide the professional leadership and skill to translate the will of the Trustees into
administrative action, and is delegated by the Board of Trustees the authority to
carry out that responsibility.
2. The Superintendent shall have general supervision of all the public schools and of
all personnel of the school system.
3. The Superintendent is responsible for the management of the schools under the
Board's policies and is accountable to the Board of Trustees.
4. Subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, the Superintendent may delegate
any of the powers and duties which have been entrusted to the Superintendent's
position, but in every instance he/she shall continue to be responsible to the Board
of Trustees for the execution of the powers and duties so delegated.
5. The Superintendent, in addition to serving as executive officer of the Board, acts as
the educational adviser to the Board of Trustees.
