HomeMy WebLinkAbout8137 Criminal and Driving RecordNON - INSTRUCTIONAL OPERATIONS 8137 (also 5888) Page 1 of 1 CRIMINAL AND DRIVING RECORD At the time of application for the position of school bus driver in the Bonneville Joint School District No. 93, the applicant shall consent to and assist the District in obtaining his /her complete driving record. A criminal record background check shall also be required pursuant to District policy #5020 Criminal History Background Checks. Guidelines Access to Records 1. During the course of employment, the District shall be allowed continued access to all current driving and criminal records of the employee. 2. All privacy and other rights associated with the District's authority to review these records shall be waived by the employee, who shall execute any consent forms or other documents required. DEFINITIONS Drug: shall include any controlled substance, any illegal substance, any abused substance, any substance which is intended to alter mood, or any substance that could affect one's ability to function on the job. Illegal Drugs: those drugs for which there is no generally accepted medical use; including but not limited to marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, or PCP.
