SCHOOL FACILITIES <br />FACILITY SAFETY PROGRAM <br />9320 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />The Board acknowledges the importance of safety for students, staff and others having <br />business with the District. Safety education, accident prevention, and proper supervision <br />are important as protective measures to promote a culture of safety awareness. The <br />Su perintendent/designee is directed to develop and implement a safety program that <br />will include, but not be limited to, compliance with all state and federal laws, rules, and <br />regulations. The program will include a provision for in- service training designated to <br />promote safety standards and practices. <br />Guidelines <br />1. When conditions of disrepair or hazard appear, they shall be reported immediately to <br />the Superintendent /designee. <br />2. Such reports shall be investigated within a reasonable time and corrected as <br />determined to be necessary to protect students, personnel, and visitors form unsafe <br />conditions. <br />3.
