INSTRUCTION <br />2655 Page 1 of 1 <br /> Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br />PARENT –TEACHER CONFERENCES <br /> <br />Parent-teacher conferences shall be scheduled during the school year. These may coincide with the issuing of report cards and have been adopted by the Bonneville Joint <br />School District No. 93 as a means of reporting student progress to parents in grades <br />Kindergarten through twelve. <br /> <br /> Guidelines <br /> <br />1. Conferences are to serve as a two-way method of face-to-face communication for <br />the benefit of the child. <br /> 2. Conferences should not necessarily be confined to reporting, but may be planned for <br />any occasion that will be helpful to the teacher, the child, and the <br />parent(s)/guardian(s). <br /> <br />3. Conferences should afford an opportunity for sharing information and views designed to promote the welfare of the child. <br /> <br />4. Schedules for conferences, the number of conferences and general details will be <br />worked out to meet the needs of the parents/guardians, teachers, and students. <br /> 5.
