Policies for Final Consideration <br />Policies 1010 – 2800 <br /> <br />MOTION: Annette Winchester made the motion to accept the consent calendar. <br />Seconded by Randy Haws. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />VI. Old Business <br />1. Construction Update – Mike Sorenson and Roger Hill presented an updated on land and payments <br /> <br /> <br />Board Member Winchester would like Mr. Hill to contact Blackfoot and American Falls on their <br />auditorium and see what they have done and learned from it. <br /> <br />Mr. Hill states that they are satisfied with the team they have out of Salt Lake City, but will be happy <br />to <br />contact the other schools. <br /> <br />2. WPCS – Peggy Sharp reviewed the remaining four areas of Inadequacies. <br /> <br />Board Member Winchester states she understands that curriculum is work in progress, but what <br />about Science, have you adopted textbooks? <br />Peggy Sharp state that they have textbooks for middle school that fit the curriculum. WPCS is asking <br />for <br />a motion or letter stating that we have completed the task and can move forward. <br /> <br />Chairman Lords directs WPCS to meet with Dr. Jones and thanks them for their cooperation. <br /> <br />VII. Public Input <br />Policy # 204.10 - Public Input will provide an opportunity for any Board Member, administrator, <br />staff member, student or patron to raise issues of interest. The Board will receive such input without <br />comment, except to ask germane questions of those speaking. Comments should be limited to 3 <br />minutes.
