In-voluntary Transfer Hearing – George Cromwell states that he has been employed with the district for 33 years and recognizes that the Board is in a tough spot, but asks them to take another look, there is no one better qualified then I am and reads the letter he received about the transfer and asks the Board if the district is looking for solutions of just problems? Mr. Scott does not know the first thing about my program and I will not teach him. I have worked hard to provide instruction so students will learn for a lifetime. I have had the opportunity to teach my own kids in this class, they will drop the class if I am not teaching it next year. I took four years off in the middle of my career, discouraged by some administrative decisions and when I came back, I was a different person and teacher. I could retire; I really work for the students and my own children. I wish I was given the opportunity to retire early before the deadline. I wonder why I still teach after what has happened to me. I will not go to Rocky Mountain Middle School to teach, I guarantee that, I will stay at Hillcrest High School. If I have to I will appeal to the State Board because of the love I have for the students. I will be fine, there are places where I can serve and will serve. 6.
