SueKindred,SMSteachers –againstthe CelebrationofExcellenceinTeaching award.Glad colleagues arebeing recognized,butnotinfavorofhowtheywereselected,thisislabelingteachers and can leadtocompetitionwith parents. PeggyChristensen,thirdgradeteacheratUconandBEAPresident –received calls regardingthe Celebrationof ExcellenceinTeaching and many wheresadanddiscouragedwonderingwhatmorecouldthey havedone tobeon thelist. WendyCarroll,secondgradeatIona –wonderfulthatteachersarebeingrecognized,thisismeritpayin sheep’s clothing. CaseySoelberg,studentat BHS –concernsregardingthe schooldresscodepolicy.Bandanas,schooladministration doesnot see it thesame wayIdo.I understandthegangrelatedissue tying ofthebandanaintheback.Iwouldlikea specific reasonwhywecan’twearthemandthelimitof whatcanand cannot bewornasgangrelated.
