Motion: Kip Nelson made the motion to accept the consent calendar as amended, seconded by Wendy Horman. All in favor, motion passed. V. Public Input Policy # 1550 - Public Input will provide an opportunity for any Board Member, administrator, staff member, student or patron to raise issues of interest. The Board will receive such input without comment, except to ask germane questions of those speaking. Comments should be limited to 3 minutes. The Board will take no action relative to any items during the meeting, but may direct the Superintendent to consider such an item at a subsequent meeting. None VI, Old Business 1. Construction and Financial Update — Mike Sorenson presented completion dates on the following projects. • Mountain Valley elementary school - end of June • Technology Center— complete in two weeks move in first part of June • Auto Shops — middle of May • Started concession building - completion date of August 12 — Pre - Construction meeting April 12. • Bond money used for capital completion items • Plant Facility Levy held May 18 is just for plant facility items VII. New Business 1. Classified Employee of the Year — Todd Hicks presented a plaque to Angela Black, Iona Elementary Secretary as Classified Employee of the Year. 2. Plant Facility Levy Election Resolution Amendment — Mike Sorenson requested a motion to amend the Plant Facility Levy Election Resolution start time from 12:OOp,m. to 8:OOa.m. MOTION: Wendy Horman made the motion to amend the Plant Facility Levy Election Resolution start time from 12:OOp.m. to 8:OOa.m., seconded by Kip Nelson. All in favor, motion passed. 3. Financial Emergency — Mike Sorenson presented information on a financial emergency informing the Board the first thing is to hold a public meeting, VIII. Committee. Rob and Sharen Meyer PTO — some of the activities - • Back 2 School Night • Students met teachers • Halloween Carnival • FAME night will be held on levy night • Grandparents Day along with Book Fair • After school programs • Read around the world • Year Book — photos on DVD Monique Gardner, VISTA volunteer — in charge of different literacy activities in the school - held four literacy events and one math and national day of service. 2.
