Healthy Place Counseling Family Care Center The Learning Center Riverside Service Group MOTION: Wendy Horman made the motion to accept the consent calendar, seconded by Annette Winchester. All in favor, motion passed. VI. Public Input Policy # 1550 - Public Input will provide an opportunity for any Board Member, administrator, staff member, student or patron to raise issues of interest. The Board will receive such input without comment, except to ask germane questions of those speaking. Comments should be limited to 3 minutes. The Board will take no action relative to any items during the meeting, but may direct the Superintendent to consider such an item at a subsequent meeting. None VII. Old Business 1. Construction Financial Update – Roger Hill presented information on the current projects: new elementary - footings foundation, electrical, fore slabs and fencing is being worked on and some are completed. Auto shops and Technology Center slabs were placed yesterday; the plumbing and conduits are in place. Roofing projects are done and we are waiting on the snow guards. VIII. New Business 1. Student Recognition – National History Day – Rona Johnson, RMMS History Teacher – Tyler and Marissa won the Governors trophy and this is the first time anyone has won the national competition in the state of Idaho. Exhibit was on display at the Smithsonian and is at the Museum of Idaho. a. Tyler Stephens b. Marrisa Lords 2. Levy Certification – Mike Sorenson - State tax commission has changes the market value. .005448 levy rates will not increase, but market value growth may change. The total levy rate has remained constant; taxable market value - 2.3 billion. Will email information to the Board when I receive updates, we will see what the state tax commission does; this has been reviewed and discussed. 3. Bus Routes – Karen Judy - this information was presented at the August 26 work session and the official route binder will be kept in the office of the board clerk. MOTION: Annette Winchester made the motion to accept the bus routes as presented, seconded by Kip Nelson. All in favor, motion passed. 4. Proposed Policies – Dr. Roberts presented 31 policies, procedures and or forms requesting 30-day review within the buildings in our district. a. 2905 Principal of the Bonneville School District Virtual Academy: This is a new policy adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy. b. 2905P Virtual Academy Principal’s Performance Responsibilities: This is a new procedure adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy and will accompany Policy No. 2905 c. 2915 Inventories: This is a new policy adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy. d. 2920 Computer Access and Internet Reimbursement: This is a new policy adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy. e. 2920P Computer Access and Internet Reimbursement Procedures: This is a new procedure adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy and will accompany Policy No. 2920. f. 2930 Rental Fees and Service Charges: This is a new policy adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy. g. 2935 Virus Protection Policy: This is a new policy adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Board Policy. h. 2952 Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Enrollment Requirements: This is a new policy not contained in our current policy manual. This policy was created to give guidance for enrolling students in the Bonneville School District Virtual Academy. i. 2952F1 Release of Liability: This is a new form adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Forms and will accompany Policy No. 2952. j. 2952F2 Home Language Survey: This is a new form adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Forms and will accompany Policy No. 2952. k. 2952F3 Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Residency Survey: This is a new form adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Forms and will accompany Policy No. 2952. l. 2952F4 Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Acknowledgment of Expectations: This is a new form adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Forms and will accompany Policy No. 2952. m. 2952F5 Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Agreement for Use of Instructional Property: This is a new form adapted from Idaho Virtual Academy Forms and will accompany Policy No. 2952. n. 2980 Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Special Education: This is a new policy not contained in our current policy manual. This policy was created to give guidance for enrolling students with disabilities in the Bonneville School District Virtual Academy. o. 2980P Bonneville School District Virtual Academy Special Education Procedures: This is a new procedure that will accompany Policy No. 2980. p. 3275 Wireless Internet Access: This a new policy not contained in our current policy manual that was created at the request of the Board. This policy was constructed collaboratively with the Technology Department and has been reviewed by Rod Blaylock and his technology committee. q. 3275P Wireless Internet Access Procedures: This is a new procedure that accompanies Policy No. 3275. r. 3275F1 Wireless Internet Access Parental Consent Form and Indemnification/Hold Harmless Agreement: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No. 3275. s. 3275F2 Wireless Internet Use Agreement Form: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No. 3275. t. 8165 Use of District-owned Vehicles: This is a new policy recommended by the ISBA review. This policy has been reviewed by the April Burton and Mike Sorenson. u. 8165P1 District-Owned Vehicles Driver Qualifications, Responsibilities, and Conduct: This is a new procedure that accompanies policy No. 8165. v. 8165P2 Computation of the Taxable Fringe Benefit Rate for Commute Use of District-Owned Vehicles: This is a new procedure that accompanies Policy No. 8165. w. 8165P3 Application, Authorization, Reports, and Use of District-Owned Vehicles Procedures: This is a new procedure that accompanies Policy No. 8165. x. 8165P4 Accident Management Procedures: This is a new procedure that accompanies policy No. 8165. y. 8165F1 Authorization to Check Motor Vehicle Records: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. z. 8165F2 District Vehicle Use Agreement: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. aa. 8165F3 Mileage Log: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. bb. 8165F4 Accident Report Form: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. cc. 8165F5 Application for Commute Use Vehicle: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. dd. 8165F6 Application for Temporary Overnight Vehicle Use: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165. ee. 8165F7 Personal Vehicle Use Form: This is a new form that accompanies Policy No.8165.
