Executive Session of the Board of Trustees

I. Executive Session
A. Chairman Brian McBride stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code
Section 74-206(1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges
brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. The
Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
The Board entered Executive Session at 1:25 p.m. The meeting was moved to the conference room.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to enter into executive session for the reason stated. Amy Landers
seconded. The roll call vote was:

III. Discussion Items
A. Student 17-H (discussion from 1:33 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.)
Bonneville High School Assistant Principal Levi Owen relayed the incident involving student 17-H and the
results of a risk assessment. Mr. Owen recommended to expel student 17-H without a hearing, and to
conditionally readmit student 17-H to Bonneville High School with restrictive conditions and to require the
parents to secure counseling outside of school,
IV. Move Back Into Open Meetina
Chairman McBride asked for a motion to move back into Open Session at 1:50 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to move back into open session. Paul Jenkins seconded. The vote was
4 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
V. Adiournment
Chairman McBride asked for a motion to adjourn at 1:51 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to adjourn. Paul Jenkins seconda vote was 4 in favor with 0
opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
