The Superintendent/designee shall determine how the postsecondary courses fulfill <br />the District's graduation requirements. <br />4. Two or three (2 -3) semester college credits will equal one (1) District credit. <br />5. A student with postsecondary dual enrollment shall be subject to the same policies, <br />procedures, and school rules as any regularly enrolled student during the times that <br />this student is involved in a District program or activity. <br />6. A student with postsecondary dual enrollment shall be subject to all district <br />graduation requirements. <br />Appeal Process <br />1. All appeals and responses must be in writing. <br />2. Appeals on the granting of credit shall be made to the Su perintendent/designee. <br />3. The decision of the Superintendent /designee may be appealed to the Board of <br />Trustees for an informal review of the record. <br />4. The District shall send notification of the meeting date for the review of the appeal <br />within five (5) school days of the receipt of the request. <br />5. The Board of Trustee's decision is final. <br />Financial Arrangements <br />1. Payment for postsecondary courses is the responsibility of the student or the <br />parent/guardian. <br />2. The District will not make payments or partial payments for the postsecondary <br />enrollment of students. <br />Transportation <br />Transportation to and from a postsecondary institution is the responsibility of the student <br />or the parent/guardian. <br />DEFINITIONS: <br />Postsecondary Dual Enrollment: the type of enrollment for a student who: <br />has not graduated from high school. <br />is enrolled in a District school. <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br />
