Resend the original electronically delivered contract to the employee via certified <br />mail, return receipt requested, and <br /> <br />b. Provide such individual with a new date for contract return. <br /> <br />Failure to Accept or Acknowledge Receipt <br /> <br />If a person willfully refuses to acknowledge receipt of a contract or the contract is not <br />signed and returned to Human Resources within the designated time period, the Board <br />delegates to the Superintendent/designee the authority to declare such position vacant. <br /> <br />Supplemental Contracts <br /> <br />1. Extra duty supplemental contracts are for an assignment which is not part of a <br />certificated employee’s regular teaching duties. <br /> <br />2. Any supplemental contract for extra duties shall be separate and apart from the <br />certificated employee’s underlying contract (Category 1, 2 , 3, or renewable) and no <br />property rights shall be attached. <br /> <br />3.
