ASSIGNING SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS
The Board of Trustees acknowledges that in appointing a Transportation Manager, it
has delegated much administrative responsibility to that office, and its incumbent
officer to assure safe transportation procedures are implemented. It is imperative that
District approved, competent, and capable individuals be used to drive all routes and
runs.
DEFINITIONS:
Routes: consist of one or more runs which occur in the morning, afternoon, and
midday. Most complete bus routes consist of an A.M. and P.M. run and /or a midday
run.
Run: is defined as transportation to a single destination.
