HomeMy WebLinkAbout8255 Student Bus SafetyNON - INSTRUCTIONAL OPERATIONS 8255 Page 1 of 1 STUDENT BUS SAFETY To achieve the maximum safety for students, the Superintendent /designee is empowered to make decisions regarding the routine and emergency operation of buses, and /or the cancellation of bus routes in accordance with his /her best judgment. The Superintendent /designee shall develop written rules establishing the procedures for bus safety, emergency exit drills, and student conduct while riding on buses. Guidelines School Loading and Unloading Zones School loading and unloading zones are to be established and marked to provide safe and orderly loading and unloading of students. 2. The principal of each building is responsible for the safe conduct of students waiting in loading zones.
