Shackett, Superintendent Marjean McConnell, Deputy Superintendent Scott Woolstenhulme, Assistant Superintendent Executive Session December 9, 2015 After the Regular Meeting Chairman Brian McBride stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section 74-206(1)(b) To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student The Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law. MOTION: Jeff Bird made motion to move into Executive Session for the reasons stated. Amy Landers seconded. The role call vote was: Chairman Brian McBride yes Vice Chairman Paul Jenkins yes Treasurer Amy Landers yes Trustee Jeff Bird yes Trustee Greg Calder yes I. Personnel Items — Dr. N. Shalene French Chairman McBride asked Dr. French to discuss personnel items with the Board. Dr. French updated the Board on employees A2015, B2015, C2015, D2015, E2015 and F2015. Dr. French stated that employees A2015 and C2015 have resigned. Dr. French recommended to the Board that D2015 and F2015 be removed from probation. Dr. French informed the Board that two employees, Jessica Smith and Michelle Tolman, have asked to be released from their contracts with Bonneville Joint School District 93. Dr. French explained Policy 5060 states that if a teacher's contract is not signed at time of agreement, the District declares the position vacant and terminates the employee. The District has one outstanding teacher contract. If this employee does not sign the contract by Friday, December 11, 2015 the District will not receive money from the State to pay the employee. Thus, the employee will be terminated and the position posted. Il. Move Back into Coen Meetina Chairman McBride asked for a motion to move back into open meeting. MOTION: Amy Landers made motion to move back into Open Meeting. Jeff Bird seconded. The vote was 5 in favor; 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. III. Motions from Executive Session Chairman McBride asked if there would be any motions from Executive Session. MOTION: Paul Jenkins made motion to remove D2015 and F2015 from probation. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor; 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion carried. MOTION: Jeff Bird made motion to release Jessica Smith and Michelle Tolman from their contracts for reasons stated. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor; 0 opposed and 0 abstentions.
