Call to Order Chairman Lords called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. II. Roll Call Board members present were, Chairman Craig Lords, Vice Chairman, Annette Winchester, Wendy Horman, Kip Nelson, and DeVere Hunt. Also present, Superintendent Chuck Shackett, Deputy Superintendent Bruce Roberts, Assistant Superintendent Marjean McConnell, Principal Rich Coburn, Board Clerk Valerie Messick, and District legal representative, Doug Nelson. MOTION: Wendy Horman made the motion to move into executive session for the purpose of holding a hearing regarding student discipline pursuant to section 67-2345 (1)(b), Idaho Code. Kip Nelson seconded. Roll call vote: DeVere Hunt, yes; Kip Nelson, yes; Wendy Horman, yes; Annette Winchester, yes; Craig Lords, yes. III. Executive Session 1. Chairman Lords appointed Doug Nelson as Hearing Officer. 2. Mr. Nelson conducted the Expulsion Hearing MOTION: Kip Nelson made the motion to move into open session. Annette Winchester seconded. Vote: 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion passed. MOTION: DeVere Hunt made the motion to expel student 12-B and conditionally readmit him to Bonneville Online School with the stipulation that 12-B be required to have parental supervision when he attends any activities sponsored by BOS. After future evaluation, 12-B may be readmitted to a regular school environment on recommendation from counselors, therapists, and the administration and reappearance before the Board. Kip Nelson seconded. Vote: 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion passed. IV. Adjournment MOTION: DeVere Hunt made the motion to adjourn at 7:15 p.m. Annette Winchester seconded.
