Executive Session of the Board of Trustees
February 8, 2017
8:15 PM
District Office after the regular scheduled meeting being held at 7:00 p.m.
I. Executive Session
A. Chairman Jeff Bird stated that the Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code Section
74-206(.1)(b)To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought
against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. The
Executive Session will be closed to the public as permitted by law.
The Board reconvened into Executive Session at 8:37 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to enter into executive session for the reason stated. Amy Landers
seconded. The roll call vote was:

III. Personnel Items
A. Employees E2017 and F2017
Discussion from 8:37 p,m. to 9:10 p.m.
Principal Heath Jackson informed the Board that employees E2017 and F2017 had violated IHSSA policies
and recommended termination of employment for both employees and to post the open positions
immediately.
There was a brief follow up discussion pertaining to Dr. Shackett's evaluation.
IV. Move Back into Ogen Session
Chairman Bird asked for a motion to move back into open session at 9:10 p.m,
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to move back into open session. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was
5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
V. Motion from Executive Session
A. Employees E2017 and F2017 Decision
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to terminate employment for E2017 and F2017. Paul Jenkins
seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0 opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
VI. Adiournment
Chairman Bird Asked for a motion to adjourn at 9:39 p.m.
MOTION: Greg Calder made the motion to adjourn. Amy Landers seconded. The vote was 5 in favor with 0
opposed and 0 abstentions. Motion was carried.
